Do you need an app?
No. We watched Candy Shorts on the Candy AI website, and the site works in a normal mobile browser such as Safari or Chrome. The series play right on the page: episode 1 with no account, episode 2 after a free sign-up, and the rest with tokens.
This page does not say whether Candy AI offers an app of its own. If you want one, check the official Candy AI site and follow only what it links to.
Why people search “candy shorts apk”
Some people may simply prefer apps. Others may be hoping for a modified APK that claims to unlock every episode without tokens. That second kind is where the trouble starts.
The risks of an APK from an unknown source
An APK is an Android app installed by hand, outside the Play Store. When it comes from a forum post, a chat bot or a download page, you have no way to know what is inside it. Common problems with files like these:
- Malware. The app can read your messages, show ads everywhere, or install other software.
- Account theft. A fake login screen that looks like Candy AI, Google or X can capture your password.
- Hidden charges. Some apps sign you up for paid services or ask for card details “to verify your age”.
- Broad permissions. A video player has no reason to ask for your contacts, SMS or accessibility settings. If it does, cancel the install.
- It does not work. Paid episodes are unlocked on Candy AI’s side, linked to your account. A file on your phone cannot simply switch that off, so an app like this may show only the free episode, an ad, or nothing at all.
The same goes for “players”, codecs or zip files that a page says you need. Candy Shorts play in a browser and need none of them.

- iPhone (Safari): open the Candy AI site, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome): open the site, tap the three-dot menu, then Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install app).
The icon opens the site full screen, like an app, with nothing extra installed.

The free part is the same on phone and desktop. On this site, 40 of the 47 series start free: episode 1 with no account, episode 2 with a free account. After that, most series cost 12 tokens per episode, 36 to finish a 5-episode series. The 7 Spicy series need Premium from episode 1.
